Captain Carl Romig is a first rate instructor who taught me my Basic keelboat and coastal cruising course . I went on to buy a yacht and sailed from N. Carolina to the Bahamas(Man-O - war cay) in 1996 then from Beaufort N.C. to the British Virgin Islands in 1997, making landfall at Anagada after 13 days at sea.
