Currently grounded by circumstance but interested in learning what needs must to be able to slip the lines in the not-so-distant future. Bonus if you have two slots and the trip is kid-friendly for a 10 year old with a tiny bit more experience than I. Have taken Level 1 RYA Dinghy course, sailed on a 5 day cruise from Dublin to the Isles of Scilly and sat in on the Turkey Shoot races in Dublin as rail-meat but have to admit I disliked the yelling. Still a novice and would love to spend some more time on a boat, preferably with an organized and skilled teacher. Registered Nurse by trade & education, so free of squeamishness and trained to manage medical situations; with a love for cooking (even on a boat!); and an unwavering love of adventure. Fluent in French and English, passable in German or Spanish conversation. |

I have no sailing experience. I am a young man, an eager and quick learner. I am in good physical condition. I have a lot of experience working long hours outdoors in conjunction with many other people, doing hard physical work. I am an easy going guy, I get along well with others and appreciate being part of a team, doing what is required of me and achieving the goal that is given. I am willing to do whatever is required and have some cooking knowledge, but nothing extraordinary. |

CREW PERSON AVAILABLE At the moment I'm in Phuket, Thailand. I'll be free until April 2013 when I return to work in New Mexico, USA. I've sailed twice from Phuket to Sri Lanka. Two summers ago I sailed from the USA to the Azores on a 48 foot Halberg-Rassy. Four years ago I crewed on a 60' carbon fiber racing trimaran crossing the Pacific Ocean from the Galapagos to New Zealand via the Marquesas and Cook Islands.
